Katie’s Cavalier Lawn Jockey

Remaining:

  1. Have the correct spelling as The Cornetts (white on the base)
  2. May 10, 2025 written below the name
  3. Ring is done in TCU’s purple & white (https://brand.tcu.edu/university-color/)
  4. Brown hair and eyes
  5. Figure out the dog
  6. ranch in Wyoming (A Bar A – the A Bar A Ranch logo is just below)

4/20/2025 – Darker Blue

These are rough lines; still very much a work in progress

Just thinking of one little addition if possible. The groom is a TCU (Texas Christian) graduate so anyway to add a small nod towards his alma mater in some way? Like a small star on the jockey’s chest that is purple & white (https://brand.tcu.edu/university-color/)? Apologies for the late thought but thought this would be a meaningful but subtle addition.
Or maybe make the ring purple & white? Would love y’all’s ideas. Thanks.
Basic Colors:
  • Green base
  • Black boots
  • White skin color
  • White jodphurs
  • D-ring maybe ring purple & white?
  • Small star on the jockey’s chest that is purple & white^
  • Eyes brown
  • Hair brown
  • The Cornettes on the base is fine. Is there enough room to add May 10, 2025 below their name?
  • Their last name is spelled The Cornetts, no second e. Glad I decided to look
Top:
  • Left side UNC light blue checkered
  • Right side University of Kentucky blue checkered
  • Cap checkered with both blues and white, or just blues, or one blue and white (we can experiment too)?
Writing/Drawing:
  • The Cornettes – I think the only place we can fit that would be on the base
  • Lab dog – Would a black silhouette of a head be okay? Do you have examples?

Do the cap like below but alternate the 2 school colors (meaning UNC blue & UK blue)? & make the brim UK blue?

Is there a way to do just below pic silk with left side UNC light blue & white check colors & right side UK blue & white check colors?& maybe make his cap the same?
And on the middle of his back (second pic below) put a Black Lab dog with “The Cornettes” written in white?

So a light UNC blue and a darker Kentucky blue.

appropriate school colors in stripes down each sleeve like shown in the top pic
